This lovely family-run business made the rings we used for our styled bridal shoot, and they were gorgeous. Handcrafted in silver, the quality was incredible – so well made and with such attention to detail. They looked gorgeous in person and photographed perfectly. It’s clear how much care and craftsmanship goes into their work, and I’d highly recommend them to any couple looking for timeless, high-quality rings with a personal touch.

We asked JWF to custom make us our wedding bands, both different but using similar metals! They really took the time to make sure they were clear on our vision and executed it perfectly!Our timings were on the tight side but they really made sure we got them in time and kept a good line of communication throughout!I will say it seems they are getting busier and more in demand so make sure you give yourself plenty of time so you can have them as your own ring makers!

JWF have been absolutely fantastic throughout the experience of having my unique ring made. From the moment we got chatting at a wedding fair they’ve been nothing but accommodating, helping me to understand the whole process. James guided me in designing the ring, choosing the material, provided many examples, explained the sizing, and showed finishes. I can’t thank him enough for his expertise and guidance delivered with a friendly and approachable manner. Communication from Terri & James throughout has been great and helped to keep me in the loop during the rings creation.The end result is a ring that I’m immensely happy with, the finish is exactly as I wanted and exactly what was discussed during the design phase. I would (and have) recommend JWF to anyone and have had many compliments on the final result!

Massive thank you to James and Terri, from the start I could tell James was very genuine and a true Devonshire craftsman who loves his creative process. Their selection of rings and other items such as cuff links are brilliant, if you can think of it JWF can craft it. The finish on my sand cast, 14 carat gold ring with a hammered finish featuring custom engraving and professional proof marking is second to none. Their commitment is brilliant, my then fiancée lost a diamond on her wedding ring three days prior (purchased from another supplier). JWF were able to take the ring a replace the stone with impeccable timing and great value for money. I’m a customer for life and will continue to support this local Devonshire business. 10/10

James worked with us on the designs for our wedding rings and made it a very personal experience. It was made even more special as he used sentimental gold from Johns grandfathers ring. We are both delighted with the results.

After 20 years together, we decided it was time to update our jewellery and mark the moment with something meaningful. My original wedding ring hadn’t fitted for years, and I’d got used to not wearing one at all. It was my wife who gently suggested it might be time to think about a replacement, something I’d actually enjoy wearing and could help design.Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the process as much as I did. But working with James and Terri couldn't have been easier. From the start, they made everything feel relaxed, collaborative, and thoughtful. James is quietly confident, clearly knowledgeable, and gave honest advice about what would work in terms of comfort, durability, and design.We were able to use some sentimental gold in the new piece, which made it even more personal. The result is a bespoke, handmade wedding ring that feels both timeless and easy to wear. A piece of jewellery I’m genuinely proud of.When I first saw the finished ring, I was almost speechless. It exceeded every expectation and somehow felt like it had always been mine the fit was so perfect.Many thanks to both James and Terri for helping us mark such an important moment with a ring that means so much. James and Teri were amazing! We’re absolutely thrilled with our beautiful wedding rings – they turned out even better than we imagined. Visiting their workshop was such a special part of our journey, and the care and craftsmanship that went into the rings truly shows.Although there were some delays and a lack of communication at times – including being without my engagement ring for a few months – the final result made it all worthwhile. On April 26, 2025, my husband Sam and I celebrated our wedding at Rockbeare Manor.James handcrafted the wedding rings for Sam and me, and we are absolutely delighted with the result. The attention to detail and the time James dedicated to creating our bands were exceptional. We met James at a wedding fair and loved his work.We met to discuss what we wanted and I mentioned I would have had a diamond ring but could not due to my job. James suggested we hide a diamond on the inside of the band which I was very happy about.I had a small issue with my ring but James and Terri sorted this and I now how my ring back on my finger.Thank you so much for creating our wedding bands.
